A reseller license covers your first client environment. Every further client runs in its own isolated deployment with its own domain, database and branding, and you bill them whatever your service is worth.

How does the free pilot work?
You sign up, and a private environment with its own database and its own subdomain is provisioned automatically. It runs for 14 days with up to 5 people. Two days before the end we remind you. At day 14 it pauses with your data intact, and at day 30 it is deleted unless you picked a plan. Converting keeps the same environment: same data, same logins, nothing to migrate.
How deep does the white label go?
Product name, company name, logo, colors and the legal footer flow through the admin dashboard, the employee app, every email and every generated PDF. An admin changes it in the dashboard, and the environment is the fallback for scripted deployments. Your clients never see the word Keanan unless you want them to.
What do we need to self host?
One Linux box that runs Docker. The provided script sets up a single AWS instance for about €12 per month with the entire stack: API, background jobs, Postgres, Redis, feature flags and automatic TLS. A team of 10 to 50 runs comfortably on it.
Can we start on Starter or Managed and move to our servers later?
Yes. That path is a feature, not a negotiation. The export command produces one archive with every record and file, and the import command restores it on your infrastructure. People keep their logins. The move is an afternoon, not a project.
Where does our data live, and is this GDPR friendly?
On Starter and Managed your data lives in the EU, in Frankfurt, encrypted at rest and exportable any day. Self hosted, it lives wherever you put it. That is the strongest GDPR answer there is.
Is there a mobile app for employees?
Yes. iOS and Android, in ten languages, with biometric lock and two factor authentication. Payslips, PTO requests, time tracking, expense receipts, meeting slides and documents all live in the employee's pocket. More about the app.
Starter or Managed, which one do we need?
Starter runs your environment on infrastructure we share between a handful of companies. Each one still has its own database, its own domain and its own branding, so nobody sees anyone else's data. It fits teams up to 25 people. Managed gives you a dedicated server of your own, which larger teams or stricter compliance rules sometimes require. Moving from one to the other is an export and an import, nothing more.
What happens if we stop paying?
You export your workspace and keep everything. On the self hosted plan the software keeps running, because the one time license is yours. Only updates and support expire.
